Hustle & TECHknow

Hustle & TECHknow ® Preparatory High School was a cyber school serving high school dropouts ages 16 - 19. Many of these young people are entrepreneurial having spent years hustling drugs or money illegally. They have developed survival techniques having lived in ghettos, and juvenile detention facilities.

Hustle & TECHknow® Preparatory High School was located on the  Compuware headquarters, 119 Monroe,  in Downtown  Detroit allowing students to  be immersed within the  corporate technology world with the hope this immersion prepares them for a  technology career in Corporate America, the   military or within an  entrepreneurial setting.

However, it takes more than a high school diploma for students to successfully move into the world of work. It requires business etiquette, corporate survival  techniques,  technology skills as well work experience.

Hustle & TECHknow ® Preparatory High School was organized with a 15 to 1   student teacher ratio so that each student receives one on one attention to guide  students to compile an individualized education plan (IEP) detailing their academic and career plan. This process of  gathering information is intense and awkward.

Hustle & TECHknow® Preparatory High School  Bootcamp

The military uses bootcamp to indoctrinate recruits to develop the military mindset. Recruits are pressed to extreme limits physically and mentally as they change habits, environments clothes etc. Then the military assesses the recruits’ strengths and goals to place them in jobs relating to those strengths and goals.

Hustle & TECHknow® Preparatory High School  Bootcamp will indoctrinate students with the corporate mindset. Students were  pressed physically and mentally to change old habits of the ghetto survival as they enter into a new corporate environment. Ghetto etiquette was replaced with corporate etiquette. Students learned new social etiquette skills as well a direction for their life and ACT preparation skills.

Hustle & TECHknow® Preparatory High School Work Certification

Students focus on core curriculum to achieve 230 credits for a Michigan accredited high school diploma. Students attended classes virtually onsite and at home.  Students earned their high school diploma online.

In addition, students learned to master Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and now they have the opportunity to learn Cisco Networking. They will master the subject matter to qualify for certification in either of the three software areas with the ability to secure a high paying job right after graduation from high school.

CCNA Cisco Certified Networking Associate is a high demand professional. Students who specialize in the Cisco Networking curriculum will prepared for the certification examinations leading to a $35,000 to $50,000 job after high school. Imagine your are tired of poverty and high school prepares you to escape the ghetto.
